The Vienna Public School District #55 Board of Education recognized the longstanding and continued support from members of the Vienna Masonic Lodge that have supported students within District #55 and throughout Johnson County during the August 24^th, 2026 Board meeting.  In the past year, the efforts of the Vienna Masonic Lodge, MCAP and OES #30, over $23,000 has been donated to support students in need throughout Johnson County, IL.  Initiatives funded include:  Ms. Wendy’s Closet and the Rams’ Student Needs Assistance Fund at Vienna District #55, ensuring that students in need have access to school supplies, clothing items, and other such items that ready students for learning.  The VGS Books for Bicycles reading program, also sponsored by the Vienna Masonic Lodge, has rewarded one student a year at Vienna #55 with a high quality bicycle and helmet over the past several years. Vienna District #55 is grateful to the Illinois Masonic Lodge and the Vienna Masonic Lodge for their outstanding support, and we look forward to a long-term partnership to support students in need in Johnson County, IL.
